Alumna, Georgie Bullen, will give a talk about her experiences

At the age of five Georgie was found to have a rare and untreatable eye condition in one eye. Sadly at the age of eight this became active in her other eye and as a result she became severely sight impaired. Georgie was selected as a member of the Goalball squad to play at the 2012 London Paralympics. After the Paralympics Georgie decided to start up a company called Team Insight: http://www.team-insight.co.uk/. Team Insight takes the Paralympic sport of Goalball into the workplace as a team building experience with the aim to bring visual impairment awareness to their clients in a fun and unique way. Find out more about Georgie's story on Monday 8th February at 12.45pm in the Science Lecture Theatre (SLR).
